Costa del Sol Towns
The climate is very varied in Antequera.
According to the average annual temperature round about 15 ° C. There are 2700

Antequera is located
in a strategic geographical location, being situated in the heart of Andalusia,

The gap between the large complex of prehistory

Antequera was one of

1978.
Most of the territory of the municipality
of Antequera lies on a
plain called Intrabetico Surco Hoya or Depression Antequera. The southern
boundary forms the Cordillera antequerana rioja, the Cordillera mountain range
Penibetica is one of several mountain ranges, which include El Torcal, which
separates the town of Valle del Guadalhorce and the Montes de Malaga.
The northern boundary has a gentle relief, formed by the foothills of the
Subbetica. The town of Antequera
itself is situated about 575 m, up on the side of a small hill, north of which
lies the plain of depression.
The population is
45,037 inhabitants, as of January 2009. The most populated area of town is the
old town, downtown. The rest of the population is concentrated mainly in the 12
hamlets of Antequera: Bobadilla station and village, Canadas Young, Cartaojal,
Colonia Santa Ana, La Higuera, La Jolla, Las
Lagunillas, Los Llanos de Antequera, Los Nogales, Puerto del Barco and Local
Autonomous Entity Villanueva Rubber.
