Fuengirola Transportand Communications Fuengirola is connected to the neighbouring coastal towns along the Mediterranean by the (A-7) and the AP-7, which connects with Malagaand its airport, on the one hand, and Marbellaand Algecirason the other.

The A-7 takes makes the role of ring road. The Fuengirola-7053connects with the Guadalhorce Valley and the provincethrough the fishing port, while the A-387 goes up to Mijas Pueblo.

The rail or RENFEstation Fuengirola is the last station on line C-1 Cercanias Malaga ciuadadthat connects with Benalmadena, Torremolinos and Malaga, in addition to the airport.

Threeother stations on this line are located in the town: Los Boliches, Torreblancaand Carvaja.

In addition, the Corridor project on the Costa del Sol in future will connect the city with the town and othermunicipalities located to the west. In addition to localbus service, there are also a regular intercity bus services connecting to thecities of Algeciras, Benalmadena, Spain, Coin, Cordoba, Granada, Jerez, La Linea de la Concepcion, Malaga, Marbella, Mijas, Ronda, Seville, and Torremolinos.
