Costa del Sol Towns

Transport of Rincon de la Victoria

Public Transportation

The town was reported by Malaga-line sales Zafarraya Suburban Railways Malaga until the 1960s, when the line was closed and the vials removed.  Since then there has been no railway communication, while other projects such as the corridor of the Costa del Sol, the subway line 3 of Malaga and even a possible extension of the Velez-Malaga tram has been granted.

Regarding buses, it has two intercity bus lines that communicate with the capital (operated by CTSA-Portillo) and Velez-Malaga (operated by Alsina Graells). Malaga airport and the AVE train station are approximately 50 minutes and half an hour away respectively. In addition there are 4 city bus lines called Rinconbus, which perform the following:

Line 1: Benagalbon - Centro Comercial Rincon de la Victoria;
Lines 2 and 3: C.C. Rincon de la Victoria - Cortijo Blanco;
Line 4: C.C. Rincon de la Victoria - Treasure Cove.

Road network

Rincon de la Victoria is connected to the nearby coastal locations across the Mediterranean motorway (A-7) which communicates with Malaga and its airport on the one hand, and Velez-Malaga and Almeria on the other.

Also reaching the town is the MA-24, which links with Malaga, and the N-340. Rounding out the road network is the MA-3200, which communicates the core of the corner with Benagalbon, continuing on until Moclinejo MA-3119, and the MA-167, which links La Cala del Moral with Totalan.
